AT PEACE IN BABYLON!!

Praise the Lord everyone! For He is worthy to be praised! I pray you all are enjoying Gods blessing.
I know I have, even when I didn't know God was blessing me, He was blessing me.
This past week I've been battling some sort of vertigo like symptoms and I have not been able to focus to well on anything. Even through all of that God has managed to encourage me through positive feedback about my blog and through His word. If you have been following my blog you know my wife and I have been going through trial after trial over the past year and have been waiting on Gods deliverance from "Babylon."

 I'd like to thank my cousin Juanita, my Pastor Johnny Green, Apostle Vivian Thomas from the prayer line, deaconess Carol Bailey and of coarse my wife sister Ruth for all your encouraging feedback. It was all very uplifting.
This morning in my devotions I heard the Lord say "I'm doing this for you." As soon as He said it I understood it immediately. God had a purpose and a plan for every trial and tribulation I was going through. then He brought this scripture to mind Jeremiah 29: 4-11
4 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon;
5 Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them;
6 Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished.
7 And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.
8 For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed.
9 For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the Lord.
10 For thus saith the Lord, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Praise the Lord! God let me know that He was with me in this, that I was not to worry about the situation or place I found myself in at this time. I was to go ahead and continue living the life I was called to live, "build houses, plant gardens and take wives and beget sons" be increased not decreased, living life trusting that what ever is going on in your life is part of Gods plan for you. Also He says "seek the peace" of the land you find yourself in so that you can have peace, the peace of knowing that God has a certain time set aside to come and visit your situation and put you in the place you were ordained to be.

Another thing it spoke to me was seek Gods peace that passes all understanding to help you experience peace even in exile. It's that peace that will help you get through every trial.
The scripture also talks about staying away from false prophets and don't trust your own dreams because they are caused by our own evil nature and desires. Take it from a former drug addict your mind will play tricks on you to get what it wants.
Romans 8:28 has almost become a cliche it's been quoted so much but truth is truth. 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose

This is Brother Darrell coming to you live from my Babylon, making the best of a bad situation.
            God Bless You All!!!
