IN THE KINGDOM TALK IS CHEAP!

Praise the Lord everybody! for He is worthy to be praised! I'm still feeling "I can't shut it down!!" my last post. I was going to do a part 2 but something happened the other day and the Lord showed me something that I feel compelled to share with you all.

The other day I had to go for re-evaluation by para transit so I can continue my coverage and a strange thing happened while I was there, strange to the "worldly" anyway. God gave me a testimony. But before that He gave me this scripture 1st Corinthians 4:16-20
16 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.

17 For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.

18 Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.

19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.

20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

God drove His message home after I left the evaluation. I began to go over the events of the day.
When I arrived at the center I noticed many others who had come before me and were finished and were now awaiting pick ups home, some had been waiting a long time and were complaining.
after I signed in, a few minutes later I was escorted to the back to see the physical therapist for the re-evaluation.
Afterward I was ushered back to the front were I noticed the same people still waiting and complaining. So I settled myself down for what I was told would be a long wait because the computers were "down" at Access-A-ride causing late pickups. After about fifteen minutes a van pulled up and everyone crowded around to ask if it was for them, I didn't even get up because I felt it couldn't be for me,But God had something else in mind. I heard disappointed voices as one by one they were all turned away and then in walked the driver, he looked around and then asked "are you Darrell"? And just like that I was on my way home. As I walked out to the van somebody asked me "who do you know?" and I smiled and said "I know God, I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ!"

As I was whisked away it all came together, This is the power Paul was talking about, power that can be seen working in your life. People ought to be able to know who you are in Christ without you having to open your mouth. Talk is cheap in the kingdom of Heaven. The Corinthian church was doing a lot of puffed up talking, pumping themselves up. Paul said he would not be interested in their words but what power they had. He wanted to see if the power of God was evident in their lives.

Today the body of Christ is full of itself, for the most part ordaining themselves Apostles, prelates, Paraclete's, prophets, Reverend and Pastors. Everyone is caught up in titles and positions but without the evidence of the power of God in your life it means nothing. I'd rather remain plain old Brother Darrell and have the power of God all over me to the point where when I show up things happen, people are healed, delivered and get saved by the power of God. But there is a price that has to be payed for that type of anointing.

You have to live holy, stay prayed up, there will be trials and tribulations. Like Paul you have to suffer some things so that Gods grace can be made perfect in you. I don't want to just talk a good game. God says in his word, Isaiah 29: 13  13 Wherefore the Lord said, For as much as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

Brothers and sisters it is time to stop talking about it and start being about it! Don't talk about being anointed, get anointed!

God bless you all, Brother Darrell, A Watchman
