IT'S HARD TO KICK AGAINST THE "CLIQUES"!!

Praise the Lord everybody!! because He alone is worthy to be praised. I pray everyone is enjoying God's blessing. I am celebrating in my heart on one hand because my wife is returning home tomorrow after a twelve day trip due to the family business, thank you God, but on the other hand, I am mourning the loss of one of my church family. Sister Karen was special, she touched many with her powerful testimony and the joy she exhibited due to her subsequent salvation. She was truly thankful and I will miss her. I am dedicating this post to her.

Jesus told us in His word that the world would recognize His disciples by the love they have one for another. In John 13:34-35  34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples if ye have love one to another.

It's a wonderful feeling on a Sunday morning, or whatever morning you go to church, you enter in expecting to experience the love and comfort of Christ from your fellow believer, you are a member of the body of Christ, praise the Lord! A disturbing pattern has become evident over the past 10 - 20 years in the body of Christ, cancer has crept in. Some of us have forgotten what the word "member" means pertaining to the body. especially the Body of Christ.

I have seen it and have heard so many sad stories. "I don't go to church anymore because I didn't feel welcome or needed."  they claimed that instead of the "right hand of fellowship" they got background checks and the third degree. And if you were not accepted by the "Cliques" then they made their "fellowship" very uncomfortable.

You see most churches today are looking for club members and not body members. 1st Corinthians 12: 14-23 Paul states   14 For the body is not one member, but many.
15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?
20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.
21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.

We need to remember that it is not us but God who adds to the Church as He sees fit, and EVERY person He sends has a role to play in the body. How can we function efficiently if we cut off our arms and legs because we don't like them or they don't "fit in." Sister Karen I believe was a part of our church body to bring us joy and an attitude of gratitude. Paul went on to say in verses 24-28  24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.

25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

So let us welcome in all our body "members" with love and thankfulness to God so that the joy of being in Christ can be enjoyed every time we come together by everybody.

YOUR FLESH AIN'T GOING WITH YOU!!!!

praise the Lord everybody!! because He alone is worthy to be praised!! I pray you all are enjoying God's blessing. I'm asking everyone who knows the word of prayer to keep me before the Lord concerning my recent illness. The doctors are saying one thing but I am not receiving that I'm putting my trust in the great physician, my Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ. He is able to do exceedingly more than I could ever hope for or ask.

I started out writing this blog about another subject but the Lord let me know that He had something else in mind. God began dealing with me about an issue a lot of Christians have and that is feeding our flesh and giving in to our flesh more than we feed and obey the Holy Spirit that is sealed and dwells within us. When it comes down to the flesh I have a lot of it, and that's because of I and it loves good food, as anyone can tell by just taking one look at my 400 plus pound frame.

Let me tell you something, the flesh is like a spoiled child and it wants what it wants when it wants it. Whether that be food, sex, power, fame, pornography, gambling or anything else it decides it needs. and your flesh does not care what you have to do to get it. Paul said in Romans 7: 18-24  18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Nothing good dwells in our flesh, our members, And let me tell you something, YOUR FLESH  DOES NOT CARE IF YOU GO TO HEAVEN OR NOT, BECAUSE IT AIN'T GOING WITH YOU!!
1st Corinthians 15: 41-50 states        4 1 There is one glory of the sun and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

43 It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.

48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

No flesh can enter the kingdom of God. Our flesh, when it's in charge, is like a deep "black hole" sucking the life out of our spirit man. I know that sounds harsh but it is what it is. We need to stop feeding and petting our flesh, telling it "everything is going to be alright" when it cries out demanding that it be fed. Paul talks a lot about the flesh in Romans 8:1-8    There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Amen, I couldn't have said it better myself. Sometimes we have to give blaming the devil a rest because it's not always him it's our flesh. The flesh cannot be the strong man in yours or my house, period!
1st Peter 4:1-2    Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

CHURCH!! THIS WORLD IS NOT THE SOLUTION: IT'S THE PROBLEM!

praise the Lord everybody!! Fore He alone is worthy!! Worthy of all glory and worthy of all praise. I pray that you all are enjoying God's blessing. God has really been dealing with me lately concerning my role in the body of Christ in these last and evil days. The road ahead is a lot shorter now than it was twenty years ago. Time is winding down and I have not always been as diligent in my work and my commitment as I could have been. I believe God put me on a sort of "time out" so I could really think about these things when He allowed broken elevators and snow storms to keep me home bound these past months. Now God has lifted the "time out" and I believe my time to go fourth in ministry has come.

The other day I was consecrating and spending time before the Lord when I began to listen to Michael W. Smith sing "My place in this world", a beautiful song, a song that always touched me with it's passion. All of a sudden the spirit of the Lord said to me "no wonder he's so passionate, he's looking for his place in THIS world and there is no place for him in this world!" Then He began to quote scripture to me saying "In 2nd John 2:15-17 it states    15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Mr. Smith like a lot of us are, was  seeking acceptance by the wrong crowd. We've been trying to fit in where we don't fit and where we're not welcome. This world is not our home, we are supposed to wear it like a lose garment, easy to slip off when we reach the finish line.
When Jesus comes for His Church we should be ready to drop this world like a bad habit. Jesus said in John 16:33  33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Even with the word saying all these things about not desiring the world and maintaining a safe distance, churches everywhere are trying to assimilate the things of the world into the body of Christ in order to be more attractive to the world to draw them in, we have forgotten that it's not the music, dancing or even the speaker that draws them to God. It is the Holy Spirit that convicts and draws us into relationship with God. God said in His word in 1st Peter 2:9   9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

Who are we peculiar to? The World that's who! We can't be peculiar if we are living and acting the same way. "My place in this world" is still a pretty song but that's all it is, a pretty song that has no meaning in the body of Christ.

MEN OF GOD DON'T LOOK NOW BUT THE HOMOSEXUALS ARE DANCING!!

Praise the Lord everybody! Let everything that has breath praise ye the Lord! I pray everyone is enjoying the Lords blessing. Despite still being on lock down in our apartment due to our elevators being still out of service, my wife and I are taking advantage of all this time to draw closer to the Lord. We want to be on fire when God delivers us from this so we can hit the ground running. We don't want to have to rekindle any flames and start all over when He decides our time is come.

I was going to write about the Children of Israel and Manna from heaven but God has led me to write a second part to my last post about the New voices crying out in the wilderness 2000 years after John The Baptist. If you remember the story, John was not just preaching on the coming of Jesus, he was also preaching about Sin and the need for repentance.(Matthew chapter 3), but he also spent a lot of time rebuking  Herod in Mark 6: 17-26    17 For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her.

18 For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife.

19 Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him, and would have killed him; but she could not:

20 For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.

21 And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee;

22 And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee.

23 And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom.

24 And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist.

25 And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist.

26 And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.

God is sending out a warning to the Holy Men of today who are like John the Baptist, crying out against sin in the "wilderness". Our enemy the devil like Herodias would like to silence you but has not been able to just as she was unable, but her daughter like homosexuality now, have been growing more and more attractive in the eyes  of the world and has cast a spell over it as it dances it's hypnotic dance and weak minded so called men of God are also falling under it's spell as they add their voices to the cry for the "heads" of the John the Baptist of today who have the nerve to stand against the rising tide.

God is saying to those who are willing to stand in the gap and repair the breach that the enemy has scratched open with this new attack on the body of Christ, not to grow weary in their well doing because He has raised them up for such a time as this. A time where majority and popularity rule and not God's word. A time where sound doctrine and holiness are seen as artifacts of a bygone era only being taught by a bunch of "uneducated jail house preachers, ex druggies and old men."

God called us to be a peculiar people but most of the Church is struggling to blend in with the world. Jesus said we are "the salt of the earth" but to most of the Church the word of God leaves a bitter taste in their mouth and they refuse to swallow it. Jesus said "I have not come to bring peace but a sword"(Matthew 10:34,35) but most of the Church has compromised it's walk with God because of family more than any other reason.
But to those latter day Holy men of God who refuse to compromise God's word for family, fame or fortune, stand strong in the power of His might and keep on crying out as a voice in the wilderness against homosexuality and all sin, unmoved by the thoughts and opinions of man. The homosexuals may be dancing for your head but God...!

THE NEW VOICES CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS: NO MORE GOSPEL LITE!

Praise the Lord everybody, let everything that has breath praise ye the Lord!! The praises of the Lord will continually be in my mouth. Like Job I say "though He slay me, yet will I trust Him!" I have been shut in since January due to snow and a broken elevator but I have learned to be content and accept what God allows. God knows what's good for me and I'm learning to accept this. I pray everyone out there is also growing stronger in their faith and trust in the Lord.

As I was studying the other day I was thinking about how great it must have been to preach the Gospel back in the early church, not easy but great. Great to be bringing a fresh, new message to the people. Only true believers, men zealous and sold out for the Lord would even dare to be associated with "Christians" let alone preach the Gospel.

The Apostles were such men, fully converted, Holy Ghost filled men of God who's faith was unshakable and everywhere they preached signs and wonders followed. They were men of authority, appointed by the Holy Spirit. When Peter was walking into the temple at the gated called Beautiful they exhibited such power in Acts 3:1-8  3 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

The power of God was able to flow freely then. The Church had not yet become THE Church. The Gospel was fresh and new and people came out just to hear the "Good news" and be forgiven of their Sin and saved. Yes, those must have been good times, all you had to worry about was being able to practice your beliefs freely. There were no "Christian theologians" to contend with no "Church folk", no usher or Deacon boards or self-indulgent old timers and backroom power brokers wanting to be "shot callers" in the body of Christ.

There was no "Gospel-lite" a Gospel that has been so watered down over the past 2000 years that in some Churches it is hardly recognizable. Paul said to Timothy in 2nd Timothy 4:2-4
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

People no longer want to hear the pure, full council of God and Pastors want to keep their sanctuaries and their offerings full. So today you find that most preachers have entered into an agreement with their members, "you keep coming and paying your tithes and offerings and I will give you some "ear candy" every Sunday.

Thanks be to God that Heis raising up a remnant of Holy Ghost filled, full Gospel preaching men of God, Who are preaching Holiness and are not trying to build their own empire. They are true Kingdom builders, the Kingdom of God that is. These men are like John the Baptist, voices crying out in the wilderness. We need to again flock to these voices and HEAR the word of God and then we need to become these voices. My Pastor is one of these voices, some call him a legalistic, hardliner and a separatist homophobic. But the truth of the matter is that he is an uncompromising holy man of God who believes in preaching and teaching the full council of God's word. There are others out there and they need our support, not our disdain.

OUR PERSECUTION DRAWETH NIGH!!

Praise the Lord everybody!! because He alone is worthy to be praised! I pray everyone is enjoying God's blessing. Despite our current trial my wife and I are pressing in even harder in our relationship in God. Now is not the time to faint. If you can read the signs of the times you can see that there is movement, led by the Anti Christ heading from overseas to America. And there are those right here in the land of "In God We Trust" that is ushering it in. The Lord gave me a message about six years ago concerning this that I posted on my old website "Rock Salt Ministries" and He is leading me to share it again here with you all. All we have to do is read the papers to see there is a change coming.

LIFT UP YOUR HEADS OH YE GATES!!

OUR PERSECUTION DRAWETH NIGH! (first posted 06/24/2009)

Matthew 11:12      12) From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has
been forcefully advancing and forceful men lay hold of it.

Sisters and brothers A time is coming and will be here soon where right here in America Christians will be persecuted for openly displaying their faith in public places. Just recently my pastor and his wife were accosted while waiting for the bus, by a man who was agitated by the fact that my Pastor was talking about the goodness of Jesus to someone on his cell phone. The man was on the verge of becoming violent and he began cursing my pastor and demanding that he get on the next thing smoking so he wouldn't have to listen to him talk about Jesus. My pastor was able to bring the situation under control by the grace of God.

Incidents like the one my pastor experienced are becoming more and more frequent as the spirit of the Anti-Christ begins to spread through the fabric of this country. The very mention of Christ in this country now suddenly is “offensive” to non-believers and is a “violation” of their rights. With opposition to Christianity growing daily, Matthew 11:12 was never more significant than now. The kingdom of God has been forcefully advancing as forceful men and woman of God, who is able to stand against all opposition, lay hold of it and not only stand but advance the good news of Gods coming Kingdom throughout the world. As we draw closer and closer to that “great getting up morning” many will fall away, unable to take the heat but those of us who are forceful of will,
will stand and continue against all opposition. God bless you all.
                                                           Brother Darrell

With All the things that just happened in Africa with the martyring of Christians, I was reminded of what God showed me in 2009 and I felt it was a good time to share it again on this website at this time. The spirit of the anti-Christ is sweeping the world and heading and is already here. The Bible states in Revelation 17:3-6      3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.

6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

PAYING IT FORWARD: OUR DEBT TO CHRIST

Praise the Lord everybody! For He alone is worthy to be praised! I pray you all are enjoying God's blessing as we quickly approach "Resurrection Sunday" which may even have passed by the time this blog is posted. When I think about the emotional roller coaster that Jesus and His disciples must have been on from "Palm Sunday to resurrection Sunday" it kind of boggles my mind. The highs of His triumphal entrance to the city, to his betrayal, capture and beatings, to His death and resurrection.

For Jesus after the joy of eating His last Pass over supper with His Disciples, I'm sure a time must have come where He began to prepare Himself for the trials and the pain that was coming. In Luke 22: 14-18 Jesus states    14 And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.

15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:

16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

After laboring with these men for three years in the fields of ministry He grew to love them and care about them and now their time together was about up. For all the joy Jesus must have felt during that last Passover there must have been an equal amount of despair as He later prayed at Gethsemane, so much so that His sweat appeared as drops of blood as He asked His father in Heaven if "this cup could be removed from me"(Luke 22:40-45) 40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.

41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,

42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

45 And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,
Even after all this \Jesus was able to humble Himself and be obedient unto death, even death on the cross. He knew the Pain, the humiliation and the shame that awaited Him but He also knew joy that awaited Him too. That His enemies would become His foot stool as He was seated at the right hand of the Father and that His name would be exalted above any other name and that one day at the name of Jesus Christ every knee was going to bow and every tongue was going to confess That Jesus Christ was Lord of all.

So Jesus was able to face the cross and not turn back so how much more should we be able to face our so called trials and tribulations and not turn back but press on as we bring the Gospel to the lost, at any cost. We can never repay Jesus for the price He paid for our sins so our job is to "pay it forward" and spread the Gospel of Christ Jesus and let His light shine through us.
Jesus paid the ultimate price as only He could. Let's not forget that and pass on the blessing.
